Edu Quintas

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, this carioca lover of electronic music, lived the growth of the underground scene. During an exchange in the USA he began to frequent and admire the house scene where he learned from nights out with DJ’s such as Victor Calderone, Peter Rauhofer and Junior Vasquez.

It started from there collecting all aspects of house music, until In a joke among friends in 2007, decided to play at a private party. Soon, there was born the taste for the profession of DJ.

When becoming professional in 2008, his good musical taste and his charisma, caught the attention of the producers. He began to be invited to take on the pick-ups of the city’s great clubs. From then on, he took up residence at The Week Rio de Janeiro.

Throughout his career he has played in the main clubs and parties in Brazil such as Josefine – Belo Horizonte, The Pub – Goiânia, Box – Curitiba, Diesel – Goiania, Victoria Haus – Brasilia, Lili Festival – Brasilia among others

In 2012 he was the winner of the contest to play in the main room of the party Real Bad in San Francisco – presented for 10 hours being an absolute success. He received invitations to play in some US cities such as Miami / Score. Today he is a resident of the annual SHIFT party in San Francisco that happens every April.
