On the underground scene, their deep house and tribal tracks have found a home on respected labels like Desert Trax, Sol Selectas, Moody, Nervous, Stereo, Positronic, and Sollors Systems.
Their journey has taken them around the world, performing in countries such as Brazil, Japan, Thailand, Australia, the Netherlands, Italy, the UK, and Canada. Along the way, they’ve shared stages with legendary dance music pioneers, including Gabriel & Dresden, David Penn, Robbie Rivera, Danny Tenaglia, Chus & Ceballos, Worthy, Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Hector Romero, and Seamus Haji, cementing CALAGNA’s influence on dancefloors worldwide.
Beyond the DJ booth, CALAGNA has curated the soundscape for the prestigious Z Bar at The Peninsula Chicago and serves as a voting member of the San Francisco Recording Academy chapter.
In recent times, CALAGNA has turned towards the sacred path of medicine circles and the plant medicine journey. They weave underground deep tribal, hypnotic, and melodic rhythms for ecstatic dance floors, remixing visionary artists such as Liquid Bloom and Porangui. Moreover, they have birthed a new alias known as “bodē,” dedicated to creating ambient ceremonial soundscapes that support deep and transformative medicine journeys.
